The Bandoo Data manager is a software said to inform you about the latest updates, if available for the softwares which are already installed on the computer. It can also be a threat in disguise.

It is created by Bandoo Media Inc. It may be related to a number of potentially unwanted applications and browser extensions such as Searchqu Toolbar. At first glance, Bandoo Datamngr seems to be a harmless add-on that provides you with emoticons for your Gmail, Facebook and other instant messaging chats. As such, Bandoo Datamngr is not a computer virus, despite the fact that some websites present it as a browser hijacker or even a Trojan. The problem with this application is that due to its vulnerabilities it could be exploited by a malicious third party to distribute malware and it may display commercial advertisements.
