I had the same problem with a window popping up and saying "please go to the control panel to install and configure system components" I later was able to connect to the game using a different method. I went and opened the file containing my download of the client and ran the sakray client first and aloud it to fully update. I then exited the sakray client and then ran the Patcher for the private server I downloaded but instead of hitting game start after the patcher was complete I then exited the patcher and ran the exe of the server. This helped me to connect. It may not work for everyone who had this problem but this is how I side stepped the windows XP pop up window. All of this was done through the folder containing the download which will most likely be installed in your program files under the servers name. I hope this helps : )

Having the same error come up for me.
The window says "Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components."
I got the DLL for Ragnarok Online also and I am playing on a private server. My RO client is fully up-to-date. Please email if you have a solution. Thank you.

If you get this dll for RO, you won't have problems.
The Gravity Errors are problems from your private server/original server.
I just tested it, and it's working fine.

I cant figure out where this file goes. When i try to put it in WINDOWS/system i get this message: granny2.dll has been incorrectly installed. To avoid versioning problems granny2.dll must always be installed in an application-specific directory, and never in a system directory. Where am i supposed to put it?? please email me~

Ragnarok online, is a game you can download of the internet. it\'s free! You dont need Granny2.dll to play, you just need it for the options... just patch your Ro, then run Ro. Press alt-d then you can change the options!
