hi you reinstalled Ubuntu and when you downloaded the dll file to get PNG JPG GIF PCX etc to work it downloaded and when you double click ZIP file and extracted dll it worked for you when you save it as in MS Paint

I couldn't go to the C direcotry. It automatically restart many times and never ending. So I copied the DLL file to this directory: I386ASMS1000MSFTWINDOWSGDIPLUS of the CD by replacing the original one. Then burn it again into new CD, but I got the same problem. How can I fix it?

To have the keyword here (hello Google!): gdiplus.dll is - though not documented - required by Eudora 7 under Windows; since Windows versions prior to XP don´t have it on board, you have to install it by yourself, e.g. from here. Thanks.
